California Dreamin'

Parker, Jeremiah and I recently took a trip to see my family in California. We had sooooo much fun! It started off a little rough when Jeremiah got the flu and had super bad diarreah and threw up. Got even rougher when everyone else except Parker and I got it and were knocked off their feet for a couple days. We know how to party! After everyone had recovered from their illnesses we went on to have an awesome time! Grandma took us to the Oakland Zoo and Jeremiah loved to see all the "puppy!"s (his word for all animals:) We had been warned in advance that dad had a "project" planned for the weekend after we got there that he wanted Parker to help with. They ordered new, fancy, double-paned windows for the whole house and why pay someone else to do what you can do yourself right? They worked really hard all day for a couple days installing all the windows and they look great! We also had a lot of fun when my good friend Becky came over with her husband and cute baby! Jeremiah was very interested in the baby. Later we also got to see my friends Nicole and Frances and their cute kids, but I forgot to take pictures! It was great to see them though.Top things Jeremiah loved about grandma's house:

1. Watermelon2. Playing in the backyard3. The banana chairs. He thought it was great that a chair was made just for him to use while he watched his favorite, the "Chicken movie" (Chicken Run).4. Playing with his grandma, grandpa, and great grandmas and grandpas

We had such a good time and love being part of such a great, fun family! We love you! Thanks for a fun vacation! (And sorry we gave you all the flu:)

I wanna see that Jeremiah boy. It looks like you guys had a fun time in California, despite the stomach flu. Why didn't you post any pictures of Scott and Austin puking? They sure told me all about it! Miss you guys!
