Halloween

Halloween was crazy this year!  But it ended with tons of candy, so I guess it was successful? :) The week before Halloween was the party Parker's school puts on for the kids of the students.   Samuel was still recovering from having croup, and was in no mood to put anything that resembled a costume on.

But check out Captain America!
And the lovely Snow White

We walked around campus going to lots of different classrooms trick-or-treating.
Lily was careful to avoid puddles :)
Family photo!
After trick-or-treating, it was on to the fun and games!  The big hit was the blow up bouncy slide:
Samuel won a cupcake at the cake-walk
This picture cracks me up - Jeremiah charmin' all the ladies :)
Pretty much right after we were done at Parker's school, it was time for our ward trunk-or-treat!  Where there was not one, not two, but three captain americas!  The little boy on the right is Jacob, Jeremiah's buddy who's in his church class and kindergarten class.
Fuzzy, but proves we had a trunk for trunk-or-treat :)
Because two pumpkins full of candy is not enough, and because Jeremiah is actually in school now and is aware of what day holidays are on, he insisted that we go trick-or-treating around our neighborhood on actual Halloween.  So back on the costumes went with a slight wardrobe change by Samuel who was feeling much better by this point, and we were off!

We only went down one street, but people were putting handfuls of candy in their buckets each time!
So here we are, two weeks later and the candy is still not gone.  My plan is that we will take all of it to Las Vegas with us, and none of it will come back home.  The kids had a great time and were so excited about everything, so I'm counting this Halloween as a success!

So cute! Love Jer as Captain America and beautiful Lily as sleeping beauty. I'm glad little Sam felt better on Halloween so he could be an adorable superman! Hope you guys had a fun time in Vegas and that you got rid of all your Halloween candy! We're down to a dozen snickers bars that nobody seems to want. Ha, ha!
