On to November! Most importantly we must begin with Samuel's 3rd birthday! I know what you're thinking - It's been 3 years since THIS sweetness came into the world?!
Yes, and what a 3 years it's been!
Sammers started off his birthday with a package from Gma & Gpa Dixon!
Then it was off to go fishing with dad! (The actual fishing part of the trip lasted about 10 min, but it was an adventure nonetheless).
That evening it was party time! Sam was SO excited about every present he opened, it was so cute.
He especially loved his "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" sword :)
For the cake selection, I took the opportunity to make this peanut butter chocolate cake I'd been eyeing from the ourbestbites blog. It did not disappoint. Really rich, but really yummy. Sam loved us singing happy birthday to him! We LOVE having Sam in our family! Basically everything he does is hilarious and he has such a big imagination! He is still my cuddle baby and everywhere we go at least one person says something about his hair :) Our family would not be complete without this boy.
In other November events . . . this sweetness boy just keeps getting sweeter. There is really no other feeling to match that of your warm, sleepy baby laying on your shoulder. Heaven.
Christmas events were scaled back a bit this year because of aforementioned sweet baby, but Jeremiah and Lily were sure to write a letter to Santa.
We took our annual trip to see the tallest Christmas tree in the country at the Anthem outlets. That is one tall tree :)

For Thanksgiving this year, we got to go to Las Vegas and made it just in time for the Waite family dinner!
The next day (Thanksgiving) we had a scrumptious feast with the Dixons. Jana made these little coloring pages with the pilgrim hats with crayons in them, and these cute napkin holders.

You may be wondering what this strange dish is . . . Funny story - Great grandma Dixon always made a lemon jell-o with all kinds of things in it, including cheese on top, for her family when they were growing up. David loves this Jell-o, so Jana, being the awesome wife she is, made it as part of Thanksgiving dinner. Well, she had also made green bean casserole in another glass pyrex, and mistakenly put the Jell-o in the oven thinking it was the beans! Hahahaha We all got a good laugh out of that one!

The next day we were off to the awesome Craig Ranch park where the kids played and played!
We stopped by to see Gma & Gpa Waite :)
