There's a really fun little swim center/community center by the temple so mom and I took the kids and had a great time.
The night before Disneyland Ryan and Stef and the kids got there. I think this was our attempt at quiet time before bed :)
And the next morning - Disneyland!!! Grandma and Grandpa Waite celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this July and so did Disneyland! So what better way to celebrate than Grandma and Grandpa buying all their posterity 2 day passes to Disneyland?! It was so much fun! This picture cracks me up though. :)
Sam was grumpy pants and cried from the time we checked in with security until we made him get on the Dumbo ride. Then he decided Disneyland might just be an okay place.
And everybody loves the carousel!
Here we all are! Not everyone made it for the trip, but a good number of us did! It is such a blessing to have married into such a wonderful family!
James was a total trooper! He spent most of his time in the stroller and caught a nap when he could. Sweet boy.
This is the ghetto way of taking pictures with the characters :) Wait in line for half an hour? No thanks!
Winnie-the-Pooh
You may notice I don't have many pictures of Jeremiah. That is because he was off basically the whole time with Ryan, Caleb & Sawyer having the time of his life!
It's a Small World Afterall. . . . Now try to get that song out of your head.
Day 2 was California Adventure! I love Cars Land. I think the rides are awesome and the whole place is fun because you really feel like you stepped into the movie.
One of our favorite rides - the crazy tractors
All the grandkids got a picture with Lightning McQueen!
One of my all time favorite rides - the Radiator Springs Racers. It was Lily's first time on it and she loved it!
I think this is the Toy Story ride
Disneyland takes a lot out of a boy.
Messy face baby.
Jeremiah is super spoiled to have such great cousin buddies on both sides of the family! Caleb is only a year older, but a foot taller! hahaha
Grandpa Waite wanted to go on the Grizzly water ride with us! We had fun and got wet. The funniest part was probably when Emily, who had been wearing a poncho the whole time, took off the hood at the end of the right and immediately got splashed by a bunch of water that went all down her back. :)
Of course we had to bring home a caramel apple (or two) for Parker. They were decorated especially for the 60th Anniversary. Aren't they cute? And the apples too . . . ;)
Storytime with grandpa.
For the 24th of July Gma and Gpa Waite came over and Dad told all of us the story of one of our pioneer ancestors.
There's something funny to say about this picture, but I just can't think of anything . . .
After the story it was sparkler time!
We love Grandma and Grandpa Waite!
Family Pictures!
We had such a wonderful time at Disneyland all thanks to these two! They have a wonderful posterity that I'm lucky to be a part of.
