The Dixon Family

We continue our Scott & Lauren love saga with a trip to beautiful California for reception #2. This trip was AWESOME! It started off with me & the kids picking Parker up from the MCAT testing center and driving 9 hours to CA :) (He feels really good about it this time and we're waiting for the scores with our fingers, toes, and eyes crossed!!) My whole family except for Elder Westover was there (hence the use of the word "awesome"). With that many people in such a, shall we say limited, space and with mom in "high stress wedding mode" it was like mass mayhem most of the time. Needless to say, the kids LOVED it!These 3 amigos had so much fun together doing things like dumping rocks on the patio for grandpa to step on with bare feet, jumping off the retaining wall, and throwing various things back where the dogs were for them to chew on :) The reception was held in a friend of the family's gorgeous backyard.A close family friend did the desserts for the reception and she made a beautiful cake with 2 little fondant figurines of Scott and Lauren :)

I love this picture. 100% total Parker face. The next day we decided to torture the children by putting them back in their adorable reception clothes and then making them smile. The girls, who like being pretty and wearing pretty dresses were being quite cooperative.
